To compete with the dedicated handheld game consoles such as Sony PSP and Nintendo DS, Nokia has to make full use of the powerful N-Gage platform by releasing console quality games on N-Gage platform. In order to achieve this Nokia is planning to release Spore Origins and Resident Evil Degeneration on new N-Gage 2.0.

After huge success of Spore and resident evil on PC and home consoles, they are ready to rock on N-Gage!

Capcom has earlier released Catan on the previous N-Gage Platform. This time Nokia and Capcom have reunited for Resident Evil Regeneration based on upcoming full length motion picture of the same name. Nokia and Capcom have announced that the game will be released later this year. Resident evil degeneration will make use of the full N-Gage capability, including two play modes with multiple mission types and 3D quality graphics.

At last week Games Convention Asia, Electronic Arts made announcement that there are plans to develop a version of Spore for N-Gage after huge success on PC, namely spore origins.

The N-Gage version will surely have some platform limitations, but it is still good news that such a great game is releasing on N-Gage.
